AUTUMN COLOURS
Autumn colours change the skies
Decorate and amaze my eyes,
Each new winter a new surprise
And suddenly the colours white.
Snow can mingle with your dreams
Of Christmasy and twinkly things,
On the breadth of angels wings
The new dawn sun's blinding light.
Take your dreams and wrap them tight
These are times when Jack Frost bites,
Then snuggle down, the bitter nights
Are kept from your solid door.
Autumn is patient it waits for it's cue
But always aspires to fascinate you,
With leaves falling like feathers
And then thrown in for good measure
All colours, are pleasures
All tints and all hues.
