I Am Not A Poet
And yet more poems
Oh What Joy
Oh what joy, each girl and boy
Should take a heart and keep it held,
From here unto eternity, with every heart to melt.
Oh joyous heart do not deny the custom of a child
To love with eyes of innocence
To want no sense of gain,
To laugh with happiness as shadow
To go splashing in puddles from rain.
To leap for glad and shout for joy
To live their lives as life should be
To laugh and smile and fun fun fun
From knee high to eternity.
